'I am currently training to be an Anti Gravity Yoga instructor (yoga in a hammock) which has opened up a whole new world for me as it allows for zero-compression inversions. I can hang upside down for several minutes with ease and it feels great!'
This website was created by Paula as an information resource on prenatal yoga. 'I completed prenatal training with UK midwife Marion Symes and Birthlight tutor Francoise Freedman, author 'Yoga for Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond'. I also attended the Institute of Yoga (sVyasa), Bangalore, India (Vivekananda Kendra) where a special maternity clinic combines Western medicine and traditional Indian methods such as yoga and ayurveda.
Paula writes: ‘My yoga practice and teaching have been influenced by various yoga teachers and styles, including Hatha, Iyengar, Viniyoga and more recently antigravity yoga. I continue to enjoy my own practice and am always inspired to share the benefits of yoga with others.'
Since beginning prenatal yoga classes in Dublin in 2001, Paula has taught hundreds of women. Please see Testimonials for some of their comments.
Paula also practices meditation and teaches free meditation classes at the Dublin Sri Chinmoy Centre.
